Born in the township if Danbury in Connecticut on the date of April 13, 1976 was the first and only child of Greg and Mary Brandis. The ever-lovely Jonathan Gregory Brandis whose life has so tragically ended on the date of 12th November 2003.

Greg Brandis was a previous bus driver named Jonathan after the cool kid of the bus, Jon, and of course used his name for the middle part of Jonathans name.

When Jonathan was 2 years old he made his debut to the world on a Buster Brown Shoes Poster, from this he scored a string of Commercials and working as a print model until the day he managed succeed in getting the part in One Life to Live at age 6. 

He scored the role on a Farrah Fawcett series called Poor Little Rich Girl at age 9 after his parents decided to pack up and move to LA where Jonathan could land bigger and better roles then in their previous town.

After this he preformed roles such as Stuttering Bill in Stephen Kings :IT, which was in 1990. In the same year of It he also scored the role that made his name known to the world as Bastian in Never Ending Story 2.

He was working every second week having a week in public schooling then a week of guest starring in shows such as Blossom & Full House.

Not long after he scored a bigger role in the lighthearted Ladybugs, even though it was not a hit more people were interested in who was Jonathan Brandis.

In 1992 He claimed the role of nerd Barry Gebrewski in a movie named side kicks, which did a lot better then Ladybugs.

Early in 1993 he got to do a voice in Aladdin but in late 1993 would come his big break where he became the heart throb of that era when he claimed the role as Lucas Wolenczek on Sea Quest DSV. This is where his talents were exposed to the world and every Jonathan fan if hadn’t already started following his career would follow it until the day he sadly passed away. Though the causes are still unknown there are strong rumors circulating of Suicide. Early reports said hanging but later reports now that his death is no longer a rumor do not say a word. All the reports say is that Jonathan’s friend called 911 at almost midnight after he found Jonathan had attempted Suicide, the next day Jonathan died in hospital. Cause of death will not be confirmed until the toxins report has returned to the coroner’s office.
